This Privacy Policy explains how iRestro ("iRestro", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the iRestro website (irestro.com), the tenant and admin dashboards (app.irestro.com), and the iRestro mobile app for restaurant staff. By using any part of the iRestro platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
2. Information We Collect
Account & identity information — name, email address, and phone number, collected when you sign up (including via Google OAuth), or when a business owner creates a staff account for you.
Business information — restaurant name, address, outlets, menu items, product images, and other content you upload to configure your business on the platform.
Payment information — subscription and billing records. Card and payment credentials are collected and processed directly by our payment partner, Fonepay; iRestro does not store your full card details.
Order & transaction data — orders, tables, kitchen tickets, and payment records generated through normal use of the POS and dashboard.
Photos — images you choose to upload for menu items, receipts, or profile pictures via the web dashboard or mobile app.
Device & usage data — IP address, browser or device type, log data, and a push-notification device token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) used to deliver order and kitchen alerts to the mobile app.
Cookies & local storage — we use browser local storage and secure on-device storage to keep you signed in; we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the iRestro platform (website, dashboards, POS, and mobile app)
- To process subscription payments and manage billing
- To deliver order, kitchen, and account-related notifications
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- To maintain the security and integrity of the platform and prevent fraud or abuse
- To improve and develop new features
- To comply with legal and accounting obligations
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Fonepay, to process subscription payments
- Google, to support Google OAuth sign-in and Firebase Cloud Messaging push notifications
- Cloud infrastructure and file-storage providers, to host the platform and store uploaded images/files
- Law enforcement or regulators, where required by applicable law
Within a business account, staff data and order data are visible to that business's authorized users according to their assigned role and permissions.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at irestro.global@gmail.com. Some information may be retained where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
8. Children’s Privacy
iRestro is a business tool intended for restaurant owners and staff. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
